When we focus on planning and booking the perfect river cruise, we are really looking for those “pinch-me” moments. Budapest delivers those in spades, blending old-world elegance with a festive spirit that is truly unmatched.
One of my favorite things to do is head straight to St. Stephen’s Square. The moment you arrive, the scent of sweet chimney cakes wafts through the air. These treats are made right in front of you, and there is nothing quite like holding a steaming chimney cake in your hands while you browse. When you go get the hazelnut topping. It’s so good!

A highlight I was so happy to organize for our last group was an evening at the grand Budapest Opera House to see The Nutcracker. The inside of the building is absolutely stunning and very grand. Seeing the talented dancers and musicians in such a historic place was a memory many of my friends on the trip said was their favorite. It really makes the trip feel special and elegant.
